Terms of Service for “stop.ai”

1. Service Description

stop.ai provides AI-powered features that generate short, context-aware text suggestions (e.g., flirt/chat replies). The App is not an official partner of, nor affiliated with, third- party platforms such as Tinder, Lovoo, Bumble, etc. Their terms and policies apply in addition and must be observed.

2. Minimum Age & Account

The App is intended for adults (18+). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for providing accurate information.

3. Acceptable Use

Use the App lawfully and respectfully. Prohibited in particular:

• Harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination, doxing
• Infringing third-party rights (e.g., copyright, trademark, personality rights)
• Sharing confidential chats without the participants’ consent
• Automated mass messages, spam, or deception
• Any content that violates applicable law

We may block/remove content and terminate access in case of violations.

4. AI Guidance & Responsibility

AI suggestions may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or incomplete. No guarantee of success or results (e.g., no guarantee of dates or matches). You review and use all content at your own responsibility and in line with law and netiquette.

5. User Content (Uploads)

You may upload content (e.g., chat screenshots, profile texts) and you warrant that you hold all necessary rights to do so.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, and revocable license to process your content solely to provide the service (store, display, and perform technical processing).

No training without consent: We only use user content for quality improvement/model training if you explicitly opt in within the App. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

6. Pricing, Subscriptions & Trial

• Purchases are handled via Apple App Store and/or Google Play (in-app purchases, auto-renewal).
• Prices and subscription terms are shown in the App. Trials (if offered) convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled in time.
• Cancellation/management: exclusively through the respective store account (your Apple/Google account settings).
• Refunds: per the policies of the respective stores.

7. Privacy

Details about data processing (e.g., processed chat excerpts, logs, and third-party providers such as hosting/AI API/Sentry) are available in our Privacy Policy: [insert privacy policy URL].

You may request access, rectification, and deletion of your data under applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, logos, texts, designs, and software are legally protected. You receive a simple, non-transferable license for private use of the App. Reverse engineering, resale, or unauthorized exploitation is prohibited.

9. Availability & Changes

We may modify, extend, restrict, or temporarily suspend functions (e.g., maintenance). We may update these Terms; we will inform you of material changes in a timely manner. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Liability

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence as well as for injury to life, body, or health. In cases of slight negligence, we are liable only for essential contractual obligations (cardinal duties) and limited to foreseeable, typical damages. Mandatory statutory claims remain unaffected.

11. Third-Party Platforms

Third-party platforms (e.g., dating apps) are solely responsible for their own content, availability, and rules. You must comply with their policies and respect third-party rights.

12. Term & Termination

The agreement runs for an indefinite period; you may delete your account at any time. We may suspend/delete accounts in case of violations of these Terms or suspected abuse. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

13. Consumer Information (EU)

EU platform for Online Dispute Resolution: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We are neither obligated nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

14. Governing Law & Venue

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For consumers residing in the EEA, mandatory provisions of their country of residence also apply.

The exclusive venue for merchants is Düsseldorf.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
